About Us
Hi! We are Rick and Amy Hooks! Hooks Freedom Ministries was birthed out of our personal journey of healing and deliverance. While we both grew up as Protestant Christians, we didn't realize there was so much more available beyond salvation until God encountered us in a beautiful way, setting us both free from our own spiritual bondage. God has called us into this healing and deliverance ministry ever since, and we now have a passion to continue to set others free in Jesus' name, as a part of the great commission. We are in awe of God's goodness as we witness miracles, signs, and wonders through individual sessions and at corporate healing and deliverance meetings. Jesus' healing and deliverance ministry is alive today and is available to all believers!
Our Unique Approach
Part of what makes Hooks Freedom Ministries special is the unique background that Rick and Amy bring to the ministry. Rick's experience as a police detective and school resource officer, combined with Amy's background as a stay-at-home homeschooling mom with experience in clinical psychology and as a mental health nurse, provides a comprehensive understanding to meet people where they are and address their diverse backgrounds and struggles with compassion and insight.

Hooks Freedom Ministries has positively impacted numerous lives through healing and deliverance. We have witnessed individuals be healed of emotional trauma, broken hearts, as well as physical healings. Many have experienced deep freedom from spiritual oppression, including fear, rejection, abandonment, generational curses, depression, and anxiety, just to name a few!
Our Vision
Our vision for Hooks Freedom Ministries is to spread awareness that Jesus' Biblical healing and deliverance ministry is available for believers today. We are committed to helping others receive healing and deliverance, in line with the great commission that Jesus gave, and hope to expand our reach to serve more individuals in our region and beyond.
Our Beliefs
We believe that Jesus Christ is the resurrected Son of God, that He lived as a man, died for our sins, and rose again and conquered the grave. We believe in the trinity, 3-in-1, of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus came to save each person who chooses to turn to Him and believe in Him as their personal Savior, and that eternal salvation is available to all. We also believe that Jesus came to set the captives free and heal the brokenhearted and that living a life of spiritual freedom from oppression is attainable through the sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross!
